Huawei is not remaining behind when it comes to technologies. The giant Chinese company has just presented their notebook division’s flagship at MCW 2018, the Huawei MateBook X Pro notebook. Apparently, the new gadget will be the competitor for Windows notebooks.
MateBook X Pro has cool design and display features
With an aluminum body, the Huawei MateBook X Pro laptop has an ultraportable and very attractive design. It weighs 1.33 kg, and at the thinnest point, it has a thickness of only 4.9mm, reaching up to 14.6mm.
Under the lid, there is a 13.9-inch borderless display with a 3: 2 aspect ratio. Using this format, Huawei managed to use 91% of the top screen surface. We’re talking about a touch panel with 3000: 2000 resolution, 450 nits brightness, 1500: 1 contrast and the ability to play 100% of the sRGB range.
MateBook X Pro is a very powerful device
Huawei MateBook X Pro is powerful and not just beautiful. According to SavvyDroid, it comes with Intel’s 8th generation processors (up to I7-8550U) and GeForce MX150 graphics card for better performance. The car is 12 hours of video playback or 15 hours of browsing, so it’s a perfect laptop for traveling. Moreover, the compact size charger allows 6 hours of use after only half an hour of charging.
On the multimedia side, the four speakers, four microphones, and a camcorder are hidden in a key (it rises when you want to use it.) The keypad is resistant to spills and the trackpad is generous.
MateBook X Pro comes with improved security features and connectivity
On the security side, it is worth mentioning the fingerprint sensor, located on the Power button, which is powered separately so that the laptop can be unlocked with a single touch of the button.
There is no shortage of ports either. It has two USB C ports, a Jack jack, and a USB 3.0 port.
Huawei MateBook X Pro comes with Windows 10 preinstalled, but also with a special version of Microsoft Translator that can translate text with no internet connection.
