Finally, Huawei announced their new flagship: Huawei Mate 8, with their own processor, Kirin 950. This processor has 4 core 2.3Ghz and 4 core 1.8Ghz, made by 16nm technology. Moreover, this smartphone is equipped with co-processor to handle all data sensor for effectivity and power saving battery. Mate 8 adopts a 6-inch IPS display as well as its prior with FHD resolution.
In terms of design and material, Mate 8 uses aero-space-grade aluminum 2.5 degree and diamond cut on its edge. It’s available in 4 color options: champagne gold, moonlight silver, space gray, and mocha brown. The fingerprint sensor is situated on its back. The interesting thing is the camera, front facing and rear. Its front facing camera has a great quality of 8 megapixel resolution, which is perfect for selfies because it has a special algorithm to be handled by the processor. Meanwhile, its rear camera has a 16 megapixel resolution of Sony IMX298 sensor, which is claimed bigger than the iPhone 6s sensor. When it comes to battery, Huawei Mate 8 has a 4000mAh battery capacity for up to 2 days for a normal use.
Huawei Mate 8 will have a price tag of $480 for 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, $590 for 4GB of RAM and 64 of internal storage, and $700 for 4GB of RAM and 128 internal storage. This new flagship will be exhibited on CES event, January 2016 in Las Vegas.
