The Chinese technology giant Huawei is gearing up to launch its Honor brand flagships, the Honor V30 and the Honor V30 Pro. While the launch date is yet to be revealed, partial specifications of the devices with some images have been leaked. The highlight of these two phones is that they will sport 60MP sensors as primary shooters in the rear camera setups.

Partial Specifications Shared on Twitter

The Twitter handle Teme has disclosed in a tweet in Chinese that of the two devices, the Honor V30 Pro will be a 5G device. The leaks suggest that Huawei is going to fit the Kirin 990 chipset on both these models, but the processor on the Honor V30 Pro will also be able to handle 5G speeds. The processor is built on the 7nm technology and Huawei already uses this in its parent Huawei brand models, Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro.

There is a difference predicted in the display as well, with the lower Honor V30 being fitted with an LCD display while the Honor V30 Pro will come with an OLED display. Sharing limited information, the tweet says the Honor V30 will have a triple sensor setup in the rear and the V30 Pro will have a quad camera setup. The only information that has been leaked now is that the primary sensor in both the models will be a 60MP shooter. The details of the other sensors are not known as yet.

As far as the front cameras for selfies are concerned, the Honor V30 is being predicted to have a unitary sensor housed in a punch hole in the display. A similar punch hole will accommodate two sensors in the front for selfies in the Honor V30 Pro. Again, there is no information on what the size of these sensors would be.

Batteries will be 4,000mAh and 4,200mAh

Teme’s tweet goes on to claim that the batteries in these two models will be 4,000 mAh in the Honor V30 and 4,200mAh in the Honor V30 Pro. The Honor V30 will receive support for 22.5W SuperCharge fast charge technology. The charging support in the Honor V30 Pro will be SuperCharge 40W fast charging. There is going to be no provision for wireless charging as you have in the Huawei Mate 30 phones.

One aspect that buyers in markets out of China will have to keep in view is that as a direct fallout of the troubles Huawei is facing with the US government, there will be no Google services on these phones.
