There are just a few days left before MWC 2016 and information about devices that will debut at the event has already begun to surface. Recently, it was revealed that HP will announce a premium Windows 10 terminal, named Elite X3.
As we can see in the pictures published by Slashgear, the terminal will have an interesting design and will include both a fingerprint recognition sensor and one for IRIS scanning, in order to receive the Hello function.
The thickness will be only 7.8 mm, benefit from the standard IP67, which means that it will be water and dust resistant. The connector will be a USB type-C one, as most of us expected. We won’t have to worry about the Continuum function either. The phone will be able to be connected to a laptop, and will be able to perform as well as a laptop.
The list of specifications should include a QHD screen with a resolution 5.96 inches, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4 GB RAM and a storage capacity of 32GB. Fortunately, HP will include a microSD card slot, so you can increase that storage up to 200 GB. We do not have information on price and availability, however, most likely, we’ll find out more about it next week.
