Taking a screenshot is super useful when you want to capture something and save it for later, or when you want to share something with your friends. When it comes to Huawei P8, there are two methods you can use to take screenshots, both very simple.

Method 1: Use hardware buttons

We can call this the “usual” way to take screenshots on Android phones, including P8. Here is what you need to do:

  • Make sure that whatever you want to capture is currently on the screen
  • Press and hold the Power button and Volume button at the same time
  • You will hear a “snap” sound that shows you the screenshot was successfully taken

Method 2: Knuckle gestures

This is a super fun and simple way to take screenshots on Huawei P8, and smartphone is the first one to get this awesome feature.

First, you need to enable the feature: go to Settings > Smart Assistance > Motion Control and turn on “Smart screenshot”. Once enabled, you can take the screenshot just by knocking on the screen twice with your knuckle. Awesome isn’t it?
