It’s no secret that iOS 11 will revolutionize the way in which we look at Apple’s beloved in-house mobile operating system. The new version aims to optimize most iPads so that they can double up as laptops, as well as to bring augmented reality to your most frequently used mobile devices. One new feature that nobody seems to talk about enough is the new and revamped Control Cente.
There are four simple steps to customizing the new and revamped Control Center on devices running iOS 11. Yep, that’s right, just four easy steps. And here they are.
- Go to Settings.
- Then, from the Settings menu, go to Control Center, then to Customize Controls.
- Tap the Plus (+) icon next to the items you would like to add to the MORE CONTROLS section.
- Tap, hold and slide the three horizontal lines symbol. This will help you reorganize the controls.
If you need more help, detailed walkthroughs with images and everything else are available on the Internet right now. But it’s so easy that you most likely won’t need any additional help with it. This new way to look at the iOS Control Center is available with iOS 11, which launches next fall. Until then, the beta version is available to both developers and the general public through Apple’s public beta testing program.
If you want to get the beta version of iOS 11 on your iPhone or iPad in order to see the new Control Center or any other new features, you can simply enroll with your Apple ID and password. And after you’re done looking around, you can always revert back to iOS 10.3.2 if the beta OS is too unstable for your liking.
