If you’ve never heard of Honor smartphones before, then you can rest assured because they’re not a shady, unreliable company. Honor is actually a subsidiary of Huawei, which everyone knows for providing the market with devices that are comparable to iPhones or Samsung Galaxies, but for a fraction of their respective prices. And the good news is that Honor is even more affordable, and looks and performs a lot like an iPhone.
As the proud owner of an Honor 7 Lite smartphone myself, I was very pleased to find out that the next installment in the series is finally hitting the market. The Honor 8 Lite launched recently in India, for the small price of 17,999 rupees a pop. The phone comes equipped with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is pretty spectacular for its low price. On top of that, it has a 12MP rear camera and a 8MP selfie one with a 77-degree wide angle lens. Pretty cool, isn’t it?
While it’s true that the Honor 8 Lite looks a lot like the original Honor 8 device, but that’s not a bad thing at all. Both phones are beautiful, elegant and sleek, and have hardware for days. The phone runs on EMUI 5.0, a Huawei in-house OS that is based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The color variants it comes in are Black (of course), but also Blue, which is a very interesting choice, especially when most phones come in Black, White and Gold.
The Honor 8 Lite has a 1.5 GHz octa-core chipset, therefore it performs quite well in almost any circumstance. And its 3000 mAH battery provides it with enough juice to last you the entire day, even if you constantly do things on it. All in all, you should take a look at the new Honor 8 Lite. It’s clearly worth your while.
