Honor 6X is Getting an Interface Makeover And New Improvements

People generally tend to think that only the most expensive smartphones should run the latest OS versions. However, this is not always true, and as proof Honor has recently announced that they are rolling out the most recent Android version, together with EMUI 5.0 to the Honor 6X model in May. Since March, the team has been testing the beta version of the EMUI 5.0 for the Honor 6X, and not it seems that it’s ready to be released until the end of the month.

What to Expect with the New Update?

According to an email written by Honor, we should expect to see a user interface that is much simpler. The UX design is brand new and it relies on a color scheme that is inspired by the Aegean Sea, namely blue and white. For more than 90% of the time, you will only have to rely on three-steps operations, so don’t worry about that.

The team has also designed a stronger functionality. As such, the system now runs smoother and it enables you to browse faster, even if we’re talking about web pages, huge pictures or search queries. At the same time, the developers offer a more secure system through a strengthened security when it comes to mobile payment, communications, and user privacy, not to mention the app usage.

But wait, there’s more! Besides all this, the EMUI 5.0 comes together with refashioned task manager. This is particularly useful, just like the possibility to use 2 user profiles within an app. Moreover, we will also get an app drawer, which wasn’t present in the EMUI 4. All this comes paired up with the best features found on Android 7.0, such as multi-window support, notification settings, and some brand new battery saving functionalities.
