Every manufacturer wants to have that one coveted flagship killer. In recent news, Redmi is not only working on a new flagship killer with a ‘K’ in the prefix but also sent their regards to OnePlus 7 Pro in a sarcastic manner. The trend continues as the Honor 20 Pro aims to be the next big launch in the lineup with a massive 32-megapixel camera on a punch-hole design and also sport a spacious 6.26-inch display.
The event is scheduled to take place on May 21st in London where the company is expected to unveil the Honor 20 and the Honor 20 Pro phones in a flamboyant manner. Keeping the phones under wraps is becoming difficult with every passing year as the 20 Pro models got leaked several times in the press renders and we do have a fair idea of how the phone will look as well as its hardware specifications.
With still an entire week to go, someone working at Android Central, a popular Android news website, published the quick review that they have created for the Honor 20 Pro. If you haven’t noticed it yet, all major reviewers on YouTube and popular websites have received the latest flagship phones much before the actual launch date. They are all being bound by the contract that they will keep their content ready but will not publish it until the event is over.
It happened for the OnePlus 7 Pro, Google Pixel 3a smartphones and now the same goes for Honor 20 Pro even though the blog got published too early leading to leaked information. Based on the information available, the phone will sport a 6.26-inch display and the back side is quite attractive with dynamic holographic three-layer glass coating. It shines and produces different colors when directly exposed to sunlight.
The fingerprint scanner is mounted below the power button on the side which may be convenient for some but an in-display fingerprint scanner seems more plausible. The rear side will be dominated by a 32MP camera with an f/1.4 aperture. The bundle will also include zoom lens with 3x capability, macro camera and an ultra-wide lens. The night mode on the phone will be amazing according to the leaked review but we are yet to see if someone can actually beat the Google Pixel cameras while providing an impressive hardware specification.
The Honor 20 Pro will run on octa-core Kirin processor with 6GB of RAM and uses an OLED panel. It will have 3,650 mAh battery that should last an entire day. We will probably get to know the pricing close to launching date or once the event is over next week.
