The Chinese smartphone manufacturers have found an interesting way to stay relevant in the market. They would first release a phone and then follow through a few months later with a successor with some improvements. Lenovo is the latest to join this club with the proposed launch of its Lenovo Z5 Pro on November 1, the successor to the Lenovo Z5. This will be a high-end phone and is likely to be priced like one as well. Some of the phone’s audio capabilities are out through official teasers on social media.
Snapdragon 845 SoC and other Specs
To first get the important specifications out of the way, the Lenovo Z5 Pro will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, to draw level with the top devices out there in the market. Combine that with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB internal storage. There may be a 6 GB RAM variant and 64 GB/128 GB storage variants as well. The battery will be equally powerful at 4000 mAh.
The Lenovo Z5 Pro will come with a 6.42-inch display that will carry a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The viewing area on the screen will be as good as or close to 100% since Lenovo has provided a slider to lift the selfie camera leaving the display free. The camera setup sees a dual 20 MP + 16 MP combination sensors and the front camera tucked inside the slider is 24 MP rated. On the slider on the phone, the company claims it is good enough for 300,000 times.
Special on Audio Capabilities with AI support
Lenovo claims that its Lenovo Z5 Pro will be equipped with a unique noise reduction feature termed “AI Intelligent Noise Reduction”. It is being explained that with this feature, the phone’s audio system will quickly identify the unwanted sounds around the place the users are making or taking their calls from and eliminate them to make sure the receiver of the voice call at the other end hears the speaker’s voice clearly. The other feature being highlighted is called “Dolby Panoramic Sound”. This may refer to the superior audio quality while playing audio/video tracks on the Lenovo Z5 Pro.
While the official release of the phone is slated for November 1, the current understanding is that the Lenovo Z5 Pro is going to be sold in the Chinese market alone for the present.
