Here’s how some events of The Sims 4 are quite true to real life

As a popular life simulation video game, The Sims has earned a lot of popularity. On 21st June 2019, Electronic Arts released its 6th expansion pack, Island Living. The Sims 4 has a few things in the game which match real life events. Dealing with everyday works, stress, insurance, responsibilities, etc. are a few things that people deal in their real lives. The developers have made things quite interesting by adding some twists in the game.

GTA Equals Real Life

Dealing with insurance

When it comes to getting insurance, the payout is calculated based on depreciated value, and you will get an amount that will never replace the things that you have lost. This is something that you will see in The Sims 4. For example, a family lost around 12,275 Simelons in a fire, but the insurance payout was just 4,700 Simelons. So, you may find it quite challenging to rebuild your house.

Services to keep your child safe

It is not an easy task to take proper care of your child in real life and that’s the case in The Sims 4 too. No matter whether you adopt or birth a child, if you can’t take care of your child, your child can be taken away from you. In the game, if you fail to become a good parent, an orange box will pop up for your failure in parenting. You can’t get back your kid once your child is taken away.

Attending the guests

Your neighbors will visit your house frequently, snoop around the house and use the things that are present in your house. This is something really frustrating. But if you don’t welcome your neighbors in your home, the relationship level will go down and they will never talk to you. So, maintain a good relationship with them.

GTA Welcoming Guests

Handling your child’s nightmares

Most of the kids sometimes have nightmares and that is normal. But in The Sims 4, it is presented differently. The child will wake up around at 2 AM following a nightmare. You then have to help your kid and it would go back to sleep. By then, it would already be 3 AM and you need to get up at 6 AM. So you can rather decide to stay awake with just a cup of coffee.

Pollution ruins everything

If you don’t keep Sulani clean, it will turn into a garbage heap. The other Sims may try to destroy the island, but if you can work hard, then you can restore the natural balance of the island. This is also happening in real life and you have to try to keep your surroundings clean.
