Trust Rockstar, the developer of the popular video game Grand Theft Auto or GTA, to come up with something out of the ordinary once in a while. The online version of GTA has really caught on and with the launch of the GTA Online Casino last week, there is no stopping the gamers from having the time of their lives playing at the different gambling stations within the casino. The surprise mentioned here appears to be a tribute by the game’s developer to the Bully and the Bullworth Academy often described as the ‘worst school’.
A Poster Appears in the GTA Online Casino
What has set the tongues wagging is a 4-part poster titled “CanisCanem Edit” that can be seen on the GTA Online Casino which has a fist, a rat, a skull and a snake. Now, nobody can miss the connection to the Bullworth Academy with the blue and green house colors and these four icons. Even the name given to the poster of “CanisCanem Edit” is the motto of the Bullworth Academy. Do all these mean Rockstar is planning just another sequel Bully 2? What about GTA 6? These are the questions being asked around in the various online forums by anxious gamers and fans of GTA.
Michael Morse and Morse Code Dragged in
One gamer found while scrolling through the lists on The Diamond Casino & Resort (the name given to the GTA Online Casino) pages, that the wall piece “CanisCanem Edit” has been created by Mathew Morse. This set this gamer to comment that there is a Morse code hidden in the squares and a whole lot of messages have been shared on this as well. Then someone has brought up a Dan connection here, Dan Houser being the name of one of the co-founders of Rockstar. Interestingly again, Dan Houser was the lead writer for the Bully. The broader conclusion seems to be that Rockstar is doing all this just to keep the interest in the game going. There is as yet no sign of the sequel GTA 6, though the expectation among the fans is rising every day.
