GTA 6 leaks and rumors have become very frequent nowadays. With still no official confirmation from Rockstar Games regarding the next title in the Grand Theft Auto series, fans have no option but to rely on rumors and leaks that are floating on the internet with some interesting developments regarding GTA 6.

GTA 6 Vice City Map Confirmed

The first GTA 6 rumor comes from a tweet made by a veteran Rockstar Games leaker Yan2295. He claims to be a ‘Former Rockstar Games insider’ and was accurately leaking information about their titles until Rockstar requested him to stop sharing the leaks. Well, he is back at it again with a letter from Take-Two Interactive which is Rockstar Games’ parent company.

The letter was addressed to a store owner in Florida and asked for permission for location scouts to enter their stores and check out the interiors. The letter also mentions that the information gathered will be strictly for “research purposes” and will not be used to recreate a version of their store in a game.

The letter was initially met with suspicion but then it was found that the location scout who wrote this letter, Leah Sokolowsky, is real and she also mentioned in a podcast that she has signed an NDA with a “large digital media company” for whom she’s working to scout locations in Florida.

Hey guys. I always told Rockstar that if they ever wanted me to stop sharing leaks, they could just tell me and I would stop. Today, Take-Two took me up on that offer and contacted me about it, asking if I could do that, to which I agreed.

This is a major development regarding GTA 6. It was previously rumored that the game is going to be based in Vice City and this letter may be a confirmation of that.

Trevor Phillips’ Voice Actor, Steven Ogg Shares GTA 6 Release Date Information

Steven Ogg, who is known among the gaming community for being the voice actor for Trevor Phillips (one of the protagonists of GTA 5), recently shared some information regarding GTA 6 when he was asked about it in an interview.

The Walking Dead actor was interviewed while he was attending the Brazil game show. He was asked questions about GTA 6. The actor gave a cryptic answer where he first said that the game is being released soon but then added that games of this caliber take 7 to 8 years to develop.

We don’t know when the exact development timeline for GTA 6 is but if it started in 2018, the game would be released in 2025 or 2026, according to the actor. The 2018 timeline was leaked by a former Rockstar Games employee who revealed that they were working on 2 major titles at that time, one of which is believed to be GTA 6.

Of course, everything we know about GTA 6 till now is still rumors or speculation and there is little to no evidence supporting them. The community is still waiting for an announcement from Rockstar as this has been the longest gap between the release of two consecutive Grand Theft Auto titles.
