Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the most highly anticipated games of 2018 and not just because of how amazing it looks, but also because Rockstar Games will be able to focus on the GTA franchise once Red Dead Redemption 2 comes out. The current GTA title set world records by selling millions of copies in under one hour after it was released, and it should come as no surprise that Rockstar Games is looking to replicate that success with GTA 6.

However, the game developer doesn’t want to rush and its carefully planning every new feature that GTA 6 will have to offer. With that being said, today we are going to take a look at some of the risks that Rockstar Games is going to have to take if it wants GTA 6 to succeed.
Standalone Online Mode
Even though GTA 5 was launched back in 2013, the game is still going strong because of the online community. Although, the online community doesn’t represent the entire GTA fan base and most casual GTA fans don’t even want to have anything to do with the online mode.
Therefore, the first risk that Rockstar Games needs to take is to create a standalone GTA Online that doesn’t have anything to do with the single-player mode. While this decision might make it seem like Rockstar Games is separating the two fan communities, the game developer would generate an even bigger profit this way because both fan communities would buy the single player game and the online game would also sell very well.
One of the features that made GTA 5 so amazing was its voice actors who brought the characters to life. Well, considering that GTA is the biggest franchise in the gaming industry, Rockstar Games might want to consider hiring some movie celebrities such as Ryan Reynolds or even Samuel L. Jackson to do some of the acting this time.
