With many rumors hovering around the release date of the much anticipated GTA 6, a recent leak revealed some images that are very likely to be the first pictures of the new GTA game. According to a post by YouTuber MrBossFTW, that was later deleted, these images were first spotted in a poster on Reddit on the GTA 6 subreddit page before they were deleted. The account that posted these images were also deleted.
Interestingly, this leak comes just a week before the completion of six years since GTA 5 was released on Xbox 360 and PS3 for the first time in 2013. This is the first time that there has been such a long gap between two GTA game releases. Amidst the various rumors surrounding the game, fans are now speculating that Rockstar is focusing on GTA 6 now that it is no longer involved with Red Dead Redemption 2. There are also talks about the look and feel about the game even as the game is expected to be featured on next-gen high consoles.
Deleted images highlighted a character of the game
Two things were significantly noted in the deleted images. One image indicated the back of a character model. As guesses were on who the model would be, another image showed a police car of the 1970s to 1980s. While the images appeared to be high quality renders, the YouTuber is quite skeptical about them and is of the opinion that they are fake. According to him, there is a website that offered 3D models and had the same car featured in the leak. The picture of the car could have been got from there. This put the authenticity of the image featuring the character model also at stake.
New image on Reddit
Following the deletion of the two earlier images, Reddit has another possible leaked image of the GTA 6. This image highlights the screenshot of an airport scene. However, although Redditors and fans have loved the image, they are equally skeptical about the genuineness. One of them has said that he/she has loved the image and hopes it is for real.
However, without Rockstar Games making any announcement about the images, one will have to wait until the official confirmation to know if there is any truth about them. At the same time, it cannot be denied that initial leaks of the game developer that were considered to be fake by Reddit have proved to be valid.
