Google Taimen Spotted on GeekBench with New Improvements

While Google might be known for other things, it’s no secret that the Mountain View tech giant is also quite the handy smartphone producer. Their Nexus and Pixel devices are enough proof of that, seeing as how many people from all over the world loved them. And now, Google is allegedly planning to expand their Pixel line even more, and the codenames of the future handsets are Muskie, Walleye and Taimen.

As far as we know, both Muskie and Walleye will be Pixel 2 devices, while Taimen is allegedly a new tablet in the line. And now, the renowned benchmarking website GeekBench have listed the Google Taimen with a few details that reveal the possible features the device will have when it launches sometime in the future.

However, the revealed info is not that rich. The website only leaks details on the device’s RAM and processor. So, according to GeekBench, the Google Taimen will run on a Qualcomm Snapdrago 835 octa-core chipset of 1.9 GHz on 4GB of RAM. On top of that, the Google Taimen will also come with the upcoming Android O that is rumored to launch sometime in the future as the follow up to Android 7.0 Nougat.

Other than that, we’ve got radio silence as far as the Google Taimen tablet is concerned. However, what we know so far looks pretty good, so we’re excited to find out more. Google hasn’t released any sort of official statement on the tablet up to this point, but if we were to follow tendencies, they most likely will after this leak.

We’re hoping to see the Google Taimen equipped with a large, HQ screen and other state of the art hardware that will make it a device worth our while. Let’s just wait and see how this entire situation pans out in the future.
