There are strong rumors about Google launching three new smartphones in 2022. Reportedly, the Pixel 6a 5G will be launched towards the latter half of this year. After launching the moderately priced Pixel, Google seems to be planning to roll out the Google Pixel 7 series in the United States and a few other key markets. Two Pixel 7 series smartphones – the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro - should make their debut this year.
These smartphones will be pitched in the market as a successor to the Pixel 6 series. At the moment, Google has not released any official statement about the Pixel 7 series launch. While one has to wait for a while for the company to share some details about it, a newly emerged leak has offered a glimpse into the camera specifications of the Pixel 7 series.
There is a good chance of the Google Pixel 7 series being given a formal launch in October this year. While the official launch is a few months away, camera specifications of the soon-to-be-launched Google smartphones have surfaced online. A prominent leaker has shared the key specifications of the Pixel 7 series.
As per the leaker, the camera specifications in the upcoming devices will be similar to that of the kind one comes across in the models that are currently on sale. If the leaker’s claims turn out to be true, the Vanilla 7 will feature a dual-camera setup. The device should have a 50MP primary camera along with a 12MP ultra-wide camera sensor. The Pro model will feature a triple camera setup comprising a 50MP primary camera, a 48MP telephoto lens and a 12MP ultra-wide camera.
A bunch of other details, pertaining to these aforementioned devices, had been leaked in the past. According to tech analyst Ross Young, the Pixel 7 series will feature a 6.3-inch display screen. The 7 Pro, on the other hand, will have a 6.7-inch screen.
