Google is all set to launch a new smartphone in the form of the Google Pixel 6a. One of the reasons this device has been widely talked about is because of it being pitched as a budget smartphone. A large number of smartphone users across the globe, especially those who are fans of Google, are waiting with bated breath for this smartphone to be unveiled.
From the name, you might have guessed that it has been designed to be a successor to the Pixel 5a by Google. What is also clear is that it is going to be a toned-down version of the Pixel 6. On different online communities, fans have been discussing about the kind of features and specifications this device could have.
As per a recently released report, the soon-to-be-launched Pixel 6a will not have Motion Mode for its cameras. For the uninitiated, this is a feature that helps in including a blurred effect in the background of images that you capture using the camera on your phone.
A report published by XDA-Developers states that the code for displaying Pixel Tips related to Motion Mode has not included a device with the codename ‘bluejay’. This particular device is reported to be Pixel 6a’s identifier.
There could be several reasons behind the company taking this step. Since the Pixel 6a will not feature a 50MP camera sensor, Google, perhaps, thought it would be best not to incorporate the motion mode feature in this particular device as this feature requires a higher-resolution sensor to function properly.
The Google Pixel 6a will, reportedly, feature a 12.2MP primary camera that has been a permanent fixture on Pixel A-series smartphones. As per the reports that have surfaced so far, the design of the Google Pixel 6a will be very similar to the kind of design its predecessor had.
