Google officially chose the square camera module for Pixel 4
A couple of months ago, Google revealed that it is considering three distinctive camera modules for the Pixel 4 series phones. It appears as if the search media giant has finally chosen the design that features a square camera module.
Google Pixel 4 is likely to feature a 12 MP primary camera alongside a 16 MP telephoto sensor for enhanced zooming capability. The Pixel 4 will not feature a notch display like its higher-end sibling Pixel 4XL. However, the display looks extravagantly vibrant. The lock screen of the smartphone suggests that Google is done testing with Android 10.
Google Pixel 4 has a screen size of 5.7-inch and it comes with a thin bezel at the bottom. Moreover, the top of the display is relatively slim, given that there aren’t many sensors. A close look at the leaked images shows the front-facing camera and a proximity/ambient light sensor.

Rumor suggests that Google Pixel 4 will feature a high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC processor paired with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM. The Pixel 4 phones will feature components such as Soli Radar chipset which its predecessors didn’t have. Pixel 4 will provide an enhanced face unlock capability. On the other hand, the Soli Radar chipset will aid users in operating the smartphone without having to touch it.
Google will finally ditch the two-tone body, which became a notable sign of the Pixel smartphones. The leaked images also show the new Google Pixel 4 wallpaper. Since its inception, the Pixel smartphones have always come with distinctive wallpapers which have been confined to specific models.
