Google has registered two interesting patents to the United States Patent and Trademark Office related to the augmented reality technology. The first one is the interactive book, with an augmented reality element inside, which can interact by using a motion sensor and pressure on its pages. There is a small lens that will project a 3D picture on its pages. Besides that, the interactive book is also provided with speakers to complete the reading experience.
The second patent is a book with a tablet inside. This tablet will show the contents that are associated with the physical page from that book.
These patents seem more suitable for education world, foremost the elementary school.
Currently, Google has dominated, in more that 50% schools in the U.S through their Chromebook and their market in this field will increase if they can realize these patents.
