Google I/O 2017 – What to expect from it?

We’re sure we don’t have to mention the fact that everybody is curious to see what Google will be bringing this year on the technology market. And the Google I/O event is one of the most important that will take place in 2017. Naturally, Android will take up a big part of the game, together with the VR headset and Google Assistant. But let’s see more about this!

Android O

Naturally, this is one of the most anticipated operating systems to be released in 2017. The developer preview has already been launched, but the company did not unveil and detail it yet. We know that the previous version, Android Nougat, was released at the I/O 2016 officially, so we’re hoping this is what is going to happen to Android O too.

Android Wear

The Android Wear 2.0 was announced almost a year ago, but it came into practice only a couple of months ago, when we heard about LG Watch Style and Sport. However, by the end of May it will also appear on other wearables, such as the Moto 360 Gen 2 and Sport, the Huawei Watch, Asus ZenWatch 2 and 3 and the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE.

Daydream VR

VR is the new hot trend in 2017, and Google is not going to stay behind! Last year we saw the release of the Daydream VR, together with the platform wearing the same name. However, according to the rumors, Google will create a new independent VR headset that will rival the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift. We don’t know more about it yet, but we sure hope to hear more soon!

Google Home

There isn’t enough information about the Google Home yet, but if it were for it to appear on the stage, most likely it will come with some new features.
