The most recent update to Google Earth Pro has brought trouble for some users. This is because some of them experienced the app not functioning very well. Thus, Google Earth Pro has not worked as intended for some users. However, solutions are given for each problem that you can find mostly on tech forums.
For instance, names of places may not show up at all for one user after downloading and installing Google Earth Pro. This can be resolved by confirming that boxes next to both Borders and Labels and Places are checked. This would make place markers to show the labels on the map as you hover over them with the cursor of the mouse.
Another problem was related to Google Earth Maps which seems to load everything but the map in any form that you can follow. Such would include black screen with colored spots, white dots, and yellow country borders some red boxes. This can also be resolved by updating graphics drivers. On the other hand, you can fix it by setting it from within the app itself. This can be done by updating your graphics driver’s software or you can switch the Google Earth Pro to the DirectX mode.
In a similar problem on Google Earth Pro, a user was able to install the app for free on a Mac. Sadly, it didn’t work, instead just showing a black screen. The applicable solution for this problem is to determine if the app is available in your area. Take note that not all countries are able to download/install Google Earth Pro successfully.
If you are still experiencing trouble as you download and install Google Earth Pro on your computer or mobile device, just uninstall the app and reinstall it afterwards. This would be the quickest solution that you can apply when the app fails to work the first time you install it.
