What is Bluetooth?
Bluetooth is the technology used to wirelessly transmit data between phones, computers and other devices. It is mostly used to connect accessories to your computer, like keyboard and mouse. It can also be used to send music to your speakers or turning on the heating your car remotely. Bluetooth uses short-wavelength UHF radio waves in the band between 2.4 and 2.485 GHz
The development and advancement of Bluetooth is handled by a group called The Bluetooth Special Interest Group. This group has more than 20,000 member companies in industries like telecommunication, computing, networking, and consumer electronics.
Technobezz explains Bluetooth
Bluetooth got its name from a viking king in 10th-century Scandinavia. The second king of Denmark, King Harald Bluetooth, was famous for uniting Scandinavia just like the creators of Bluetooth meant to unite the worlds of PCs and cell phones. While the name might be from Danish history, the icon is based of an old Icelandic rune that means “bind together”.
