What is Flashing?
If you flash a ROM on your Android phone then this called Flashing. You can only perform flashing on your phone if your phone has a custom recovery installed. You can also perform flashing the Rom if your Android has a microSD card which can hold the ROM file for sometimes. Here is how you can perform ROM Flashing:
> Go to an Android development site, and then obtain a Rom of your choice.
> Download the Rom file you liked.
> After you downloaded the ROM file, copy over the .ZIP file on your phones SD card.
> Switch off the phone.
> Boot up for recovery.
> Go to your phone’s custom recovery boot loader, locate the menu options and wipe the phone.
> After your Android phone is wiped go back to the menu and click Flash Zip from SD card.
> Select the ROM, Zip file you want to flash.
> Confirm that you really want to perform the Flashing task.
If you see no errors after the Flashing, you can be sure the flashing you have just performed is successful.
