Technobezz Explains DALVIK CACHE
Dalvik cache refers to the directory which contains the ode files of the applications after being installed on the device. This helps in boosting the performance of the device, as it doesn’t have to perform the same optimization process every time you load that application.
> Dalvik cache can also be considered as the program cache for the Dalvik machine, and the files inside are the result of Dalvik machine doing an optimization process for the applications installed in it.
> It increases the access time, since the odex files are there in the Dalvik cache so there is no need of optimizing them every time someone opens the application.
