Raspberry Pi is one of those less known brands that managed to offer a great performance. The computers are quite small, and the first one cost only $35. That happened 6 years ago, and many other models were launched since then. Today we will take a look at the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+.
All the necessary improvements
Back in 2016, Raspberry Pi 3 Model B was launched. Now Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ is supposed to continue the legacy and it does come with several improvements. While it is not a huge update, the new additions are good enough to make the new model worth it.
If we compare the two models, the first thing we can notice is the fact that the processor is faster. The B+ has the same quad-core, but there is a 15% increase, up to 1.4 GHz, which means a better performance for the latest model. Wi-Fi connectivity has also been improved because there is new dual-band antenna for Wi-Fi. Thanks to it, there is now support for 2.4GHz and 5GHz 802.11 b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi.
Powerful and cheap
The price for this model starts at $35 and some of the most notable enhancements are the faster Wi-Fi capabilities and the improved processor. This computer can be used for everyday use and it is powerful enough to match all your needs, which a great thing, especially if you consider its price.
The B+ model is the most powerful Pi product so far and it manages to combine the advantages of all the previous ones. This computer will be able to support the Power Over Ethernet (POE) capability, which means that the Ethernet cable could be used to power the board.
