We finally know some real information about what the foldable phone from Samsung, also known as Galaxy X or Galaxy Y. The revolutionary device is due to being released next year, but we will be able to see how it looks like this year during the South Korean tech giant’s developer conference.
This new information comes from TENAA, the same source from which we found out that the foldable phone received Bluetooth certification and also its code, W2019. Now it makes a new appearance on TENAA, and the leaked document gives us a better clue of how the phone will be like. Now we know its display size, its battery, and its dimensions. Unfortunately, TENAA has removed the page, so it is no longer available.
Regarding the information that was leaked, we now know that the foldable phone from Samsung will be equipped with a dual screen measuring 4.2 inches, just as we saw Samsung W2018 having. According to earlier reports, the phone will also feature a dual camera setup. Now for its dimensions, what we know is that it will measure 132.9×63.2×17.3mm.
We bet everybody wants to hear about one major feature of the Samsung W2019 and that is its battery. This innovative device from the South Korean tech giant will be equipped with a 3,000 mAh battery.
The Galaxy X or however you want to call it has been codenamed as Project Lykan. From the first video to ever show such a phone from Samsung, we have seen that it would feature a T9 keyboard and a certain design with two screens. This will remain the same. However, it will also include a Bixby button mounted on the upper flip panel on the left side.
What is even greater is that the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 chipset.
