  1. So much crap about fixing, no problem at all before android update, so f*** this new OS and all that google s*it it comes with. Everyting in my network (and others for that matter) works the same way now as it did before the android update. I havent flipped any switch or changed any settings for ages, because – if it works, dont screw with it! So! The Z isnt the problem, its the software that has changed (probably to get you to upgrade your hardware?). So.. My fix was – getting the wifi code of an old android version and putting it in the new version, voila – no issues with wifi / bluetooth / stamina / router or whatever… Simple fix i used before was – enable/disable flightmode (ergo stop/start wifi driver) and it worked as a char again. So for me – I’ll buy sony anytime, i just encourage sony to build their own OS – google is dangerous!

  2. In some cases you need to enter manually the Wifi SSID,security setting WPA/PSK & password on your mobile problem fixed

  3. I had similar problem, my phone had a little problem with authentication and regular disconnecting from wifi. I tried many things like hard reset, software update, router software update etc. even I came back from Marshmallow to Lollipop for a while, but nothing helped me. The solution turned out to be channel in my router. I changed it to 3 after that to 13 – but my phone works only with default channels like 6 or 8. After change my wifi get back to life and now work perfectly. Try it in your case 🙂

Channel – This field determines which operating frequency will be used. It is not necessary to change the wireless channel unless you notice interference problems with another nearby access point.
