  10. In some HTC phones like mine(htc 820g+), we need to press all three buttons to restart… ie vol up, vol down and power button

  11. I had a similar problem except my phone would only charge if I tilted the charger a certain way. I was sure it was a loose connection in the phone or with my charger. I tried all of the steps above with no luck. I then tried inserting a small piece of aluminum foil to see if the connection was loose, no luck. Then I took a toothpick and scraped a TON of black junk off of the metal connection strip in the phone and it works perfectly now. I don’t have to wiggle the charger to get the light to come on and it is charging way faster than before. Hope this works for someone else.

  12. If nothing worked for you then I think it’s a battery problem. Battery replacement is the solution in that case but before that I would suggest to contact a technician.

  13. It worked for me. Just held the [Volume Up + Volume Down + Power Button] for 20-30 seconds, selected the “Reboot” option, and the phone restarted and turned on. My phone appeared at 87% in battery which was strange, but it worked so that’s all that matters. Thanks A. Bera!
