Nexus 7 is a great Android tablet that gives you an amazing experience. This tablet has been accepting by a huge number of users because of its great design and a huge number of features. Nexus 7 first came into the market in 2012, and Google again released the tablet in 2013 with some improvements though most of the features remain same.

But users of 2013 Nexus 7 are facing some issues with the tablet. Among them, GPS not working problem on Nexus 7 is one of the most faced issues by the users. According to the users, the GPS connects correctly, but after few minutes, especially when they launch other apps, the GPS connection gets drop and won’t connect.

1. For temporary solution reboot your Nexus 7 by holding the Power button until the phone restarts. Then you will see that the GPS is working fine.

2. For a permanent solution, you need to wait for Google for a software update as they are working on it. This problem will be solved by an update, so you can check the updates often by going to Settings > About Tablet > System updates on Nexus 7 and also make sure that all the apps on your Nexus 7 are up to date in Play Store by going to Settings > My apps > Update all.

3. You can try to exchange the device at the retailer if you think that it’s a hardware problem, but it does not seem likely.
