Facebook has quickly become the most popular social network in the world. In fact, there isn’t another one quite like it that is also widely used by the public and other big ones with different concepts behind them are also Facebook-owned nowadays, so it’s clear that Facebook has total monopoly on the social media market. Due to the company being so big and growing all the time, it’s also to be expected that it delivers the best features and has the most reliable apps.

And Facebook has been holding true to this expectation recently. In fact, the Facebook News Feed we all know and love just got two important upgrades that make it better. Let’s see what they are and what they did to make the social network even better than before.

Related Articles

The first upgrade that the News Feed got tackles the ‘Related Articles’ feature. Even if you don’t use Facebook daily, you most likely already understand what this feature is. If an article is shared massively across Facebook, the website or app starts displaying a series of articles that might be related to it directly under it. This feature has been tested out in April and the public loved it, so now it’s going to be made available across the board.

Needless to say, this feature is great because it broadens access to information. And not only that, but it can also be a great tool of exposure for lesser known publications to make themselves known.

Machine Learning

The Facebook News Feed also has machine learning abilities now that affect most of the information displayed on it, including the aforementioned ‘Related Articles’ section. So it’s pretty clear that your Facebook News Feed is now better than it ever was. So go on Facebook and enjoy some greatly tailored content!
