Facebook Messenger Video Chat Receives New Masks, Filters and Reactions

Facebook Messenger is one of the most used applications on mobile devices. Today we will talk about a new update that has just been released for this messaging application, which comes with new masks, filters and reactions that will make video chats more fun than before.

According to reports, the Video Reactions is allowing you to select one of the Facebook Reaction emojis and bring it up to a custom video sharing your sadness, anger, joy and more. Keep in mind that the live filters will allow you to react to the conversation in a more “visual” way.

To make things even better, the new update comes with new stylistic filters that allow you to select a different color hue to the video footage or even lighting type. Keep in mind that you will see a preview of the filters before applying them.

There are even some nice augmented reality masks that you can bring to the video chats. It seems that the developers are planning to bring even more masks to video chats, which will let the users to “become” whatever they want during Video calls.

If you usually take screenshots of your conversations, then this update will surely make your day. It seems that you can now take screenshots of the video chat conversations and this can be done with a dedicated button that will save images. This means that you can take photos of the video chat and all pictures will be saved.

We need to agree that there are many popular mobile messaging applications out there, but it seems that Facebook is getting better and better. Let’s not forget that another popular mobile messaging application is WhatsApp, which is currently owned by Facebook.

In other words, the company will probably import some of these new features to the WhatsApp application sometime in the near future.
