Created by the developers of the Opera web browser, the Turbo Mode is designed to solve the problems encountered by the users with low speed of Internet connections. This option greatly reduces all incoming traffic, that removes all unnecessary elements on the web pages.

If the speed of your current internet connection is not enough for comfortable work, the browser will automatically cut out the „heavy“ data of the pages.

Such tools can be useful:

  • If your provider currently trying to fix some connection problems, and the connection is very slow.
  • If you are using ADSL connection.
  • If you are using a 3g\4g internet and pay for incoming traffic.

Opera Turbo usually activates as soon as the connection quality falls below a certain point. In this case, the browser goes to saving mode as long as the speed it is not stabilized.

If you want to enable the service manually, you need to go to the Opera settings Menu. This can be done using a special button in the left corner of the window, above the address bar. In the drop-down menu, click on „Opera Turbo“, to activate it. Follow the same steps to disable it.
