EA And Maxis are Rebranding The Sims 4

During the monthly Maxis lifestream, the developer said that they would entirely renovate the game from top to bottom. According to the video snippet of 12th of July 2019, both EA and Maxis said that they would revamp the game. On the other hand, the players can expect to see an aesthetic overhaul along with new additions which would head to the game.

The Sims 4 has been around for a long time now. EA and Maxis are yet to reveal anything about The Sims 5. During the E3 2019, EA didn’t reveal anything about the fifth instalment of The Sims 4. The strategy to rebrand the game seems like a commitment to The Sims 4 as well as the players. Recently, the developer released the last expansion series, “Island Living,” which has got a good response from the players.

The latest update will bring in new changes to the game

The players will be easily able to spot out the new plumbob along with brand modern box art. Even the gameplay menu of The Sims 4 is going to change alongside a new loading screen. If the players take a little closer look at the latest update, they will notice that the latest update is focusing more on the color blue.

The game would use the latest new plumbob in the place of a new logo. However, the in-game plumbob will not get a refreshing design. The avid Sims gamers can notice new Sims on the box art. The new sims on the box art are the perfect replacement of the famous characters which were used for promotional measures.

Create Sims’ personality with a simple quiz

One of the most integral parts of the updates can be seen while the players are in Create-A-Sim Story. Moreover, the feature is explicitly optional; nevertheless, this option will allow giving more life to Sims. The personality quiz is specifically designed not to affect the appearance of a Sim; instead, it is shaping their traits, aspirations, skills and career.

There is a downside of taking the quiz; once a player takes the quiz, it is next to impossible to change the entirety of the Sims in the long run. The changes are entirely permanent. On top of that, the developer has also added more than 1,000 of the objects alongside the Buy & Build category.

The console gamers can finally get their hands-on Island Living patch on the 16th of July.
