On June 26th the beta version of iOS 11 has been released by Apple. If you were one of the enthusiasts that downloaded the beta version and by now you have not been impressed, in this article you can find a series of steps to take in order to downgrade to your iOS 10 version. Whether you have an iPad or iPod touch please make sure you make a complete backup of your device before downgrading your device.
Steps to follow to revert from iOS11 beta to iOS 10:
Step number 1: Check and make sure you have the newest iTunes versions.
Step number 3: In order to log in, please enter your Apple ID and password. Afterward, please download the image file.
Step number 4: Make sure you connect properly your iOS device to your Mac or PC while running iTunes.
Step number 5: Put your device into recovery mode. If you own the latest iPhone 7 or iPhone 7Plus, to enter recovery mode you need to press at the same time the volume down and power buttons. For older versions you need to press and hold the home and power buttons.
Step number 6: Click on Restore.
Step number 7: Select the image downloaded in step number 2.
Step number 8: Click on Restore to remove the iOS 11 beta version.
Step number 9: Enter your Apple ID and password on your device.
Step number 10: Two options are available: restore back to the state it was before the upgrade or set it up as a new device.
