How to delete your Snapchat account
If you don’t want to use Snapchat any longer for some reason, you can permanently delete your account. In order to do this, you need to use your web browser. Here are the steps:
- Open the web browser you are using and go to https://support.snapchat.com/delete-account
- When the web page opens, enter your username and password
- Make sure to check “I’m not a robot” box
- Now click Submit
- On the next page, you will have to enter your password one more time
- Then click on “Delete my account”.
Your Snapchat is now deleted. If you change your mind one day and want to use Snapchat again, you won’t be able to use the same account as you deleted it permanently. Don’t delete your Snapchat account if you are not 100 % sure that’s what you want, because once you delete it, your snaps, friends, and stories will be deleted too and you won’t be able to get that back.
