How To Clear App Cache And Data On Samsung Galaxy Note 5

You can find so many awesome apps in the Play Store, such as music players, e-book readers, games, productivity apps and so on. With all these apps fun when using your Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is guaranteed. But, sometimes, one of the apps you have on your smartphone may start to act crazy – it may open too slowly, it may freeze or crash. When that happens, it does not mean you should remove that app from your device and often, all you need to do is to clear the app cache or app data. To clear app cache on Samsung Galaxy Note 5, do the following:

  • Navigate to Settings
  • Tap App Manager
  • Find the app for which you want to clear cache
  • Tap on that app
  • Tap Clear cache

 

To clear app data on Samsung Galaxy Note 5, do the following:

  • Navigate to Settings
  • Tap App Manager
  • Find the app for which you want to clear data
  • Tap on that app
  • Tap Clear data

Note: By clearing app data, all the data and information the app stores, such as settings you adjusted according to your needs, saved passwords and so on, will be deleted.

 

To clear cached data for all the apps, do the following:

  • Navigate to Settings
  • Tap on Storage
  • Tap Cached data
  • Click on OK to confirm the action.

 

 

As you can see, with only a few simple steps you can clear app cache and data, or cached data for all the apps you have on your Note 5.
