Starting this month, Grolsch launches two innovations in the field of virtual reality.
From the packaging of the Grolsch doses, you will be able to make your own virtual reality goggles. In addition, you will be able to try the 360 video experience, created specifically for Grolsch, reads a press release from Playtech.
The glasses made from the packaging of Grolsch doses gives you the freedom to see the 360 from all angles and are basically a version of the Google Cardboard glasses but with slightly different design.
For that experience to be complete, on Grolsch’s YouTube channel, the consumers can access clips filmed in 360 by the experimentalists.
“We want through each Grolsch challenge to bring the consumers new experiences through which they can experience the creativity that surrounds us. Our consumers are generally the first to adopt new technology, for which we want to keep our pace with the latest innovations, in this case, being the release of 360 experiences, and a dedicated viewer,” says Ingrid Viuleț, Grolsch Brand Manager.
Obviously, the content created by Grolsch is not the only one that can be watched on the glasses, the Cardboard application containing numerous games and diverse content. The news comes shortly after we found out that in Sweden, McDonalds has a similar campaign with the packaging of the Happy Meal.
