Smartphone launches come and go, but once you decide to buy a phone it stays with you for a while. The new Moto E4 is a hot topic right now, and today we’re going to offer you the best five tips and tricks to make it better. So if you’re the lucky owner of this budget-friendly gem, listen up and take notes. You can thank us later.

  1. Change its wallpaper

If you’re a fan of customizing and personalizing your devices, then you know how much of a difference a good wallpaper can make. Even though it might seem a bit obvious, this is the first step you need to take in order to make your Moto E4 better. You can either choose from its amazing offer of preset wallpapers, or you can get your own. It’s all up to you.

  1. Transfer your data

Transferring your data from your old phone is another important step you need to take in order to make your new Moto E4 feel more yours. You can do this with the help of the Google Play Store, which will install all the apps you had on your old phone, as well as with Google Drive for photos and other media. If you didn’t own a smartphone before you got the Moto E4, then it’s going to be harder.

There is also an easier way to do this, and it’s called Motorola Migrate, an app designed to send data off of your old phone straight to your new Moto. With this app you can also restore other things such as call history.

  1. Pin shortcuts to home screen

You can pin important shortcuts to your Moto E4’s home screen easily. Just go to Settings > Security > Screen Pinning. Now you can pin anything that’s important to you to your home screen for easy access to it. This is helpful if you’ve got your tickets, paperwork, exam materials and so on onto your phone. Having important data readily available to you is essential in performing daily tasks successfully, so choose to customize your Moto E4 to help you with that because you won’t regret it.

  1. Extend battery life

Did you know that you can extend your Moto E4’s battery life? Although its Plus variant has better battery life due to a bigger battery, the classic Moto E4 also holds its own, and with this feature, it can become even more resistant. All you need to do is enable its Battery Saving Mode. In order to do so, go to the Settings menu, then to the section called Device. Select Battery and tap on Menu. Then enable the battery save feature.

You can also make sure that your device has good battery life by always cleaning up its app drawer, as well as toggling its brightness on to a lower level when necessary. High screen brightness is one of the main battery life drainers, did you know that? Take care of your Moto E4’s battery life by being careful not to leave that on for too long.

  1. Share beautiful photos with friends

The Moto E4 takes beautiful photos. It adjusts to your environment automatically to provide the best shot, and on top of that it also offers a priceless HDR feature to take even better photos with. And the best thing about this is that you can share your lovely shots from your Moto E4 camera straight to your friends, because the Camera app has inbuilt sharing functions. If you’re especially passionate about photography, you will most likely love this feature.
