Avengers-Themed OnePlus 6 Will Soon Be Released in India

It is now confirmed! Marvel and OnePlus have partnered for releasing an Avengers-themed edition of their OnePlus 6, which is soon going to be launched. This edition could only be available to the Indian market, just like the OnePlus 5T Star Wars edition was last year.

This partnership is happening while we’re waiting for the latest Marvel movie – Avengers: Infinity War, which will be in theaters in India and the US on 27 April.

The news about OnePlus and Marvel partnership first appeared in a video teaser, showing the logo of OnePlus and the one from the Avengers, also featuring a poster with Avengers: Infinity War for a total of 10 seconds. This video was posted on the official OnePlus India’s Facebook page and remained there for only a short while, after which it was deleted.

Beyond the Ordinary With OnePlus and Marvel

In a press note, OnePlus wrote:

OnePlus’ association with Marvel Studios is a manifestation of the enduring love and support they have garnered from its respective community over the years with a purpose to go beyond the ordinary and achieve groundbreaking innovations in mobile technology only to create the best user experiences.

As for details on how the OnePlus will look like or what it will feature the normal OnePlus 6 model, the company hasn’t announced any official information. However, we think that this limited edition will also have some content specifically for the Avengers fans. If we’re looking at last year’s OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition, it’s a similar situation this year.

So, we would say that the Avengers: Infinity War OnePlus 6 model will have basically the same specifications and also a notch. It will surely come with a Snapdragon 845 SoC, and according to leaked specifications, we might also see a dual camera setup on the rear. There are also speculations that it will also have a water-resistant build and an option ‘Slide to Focus’ enabled by the Alert Slider.
