Apple’s Budget iPhone XC Release Date and Specs

Apple’s Budget iPhone XC Release Date and Specs

Most tech fans have made the assumption that Apple will announce its trio of iPhones on 12th of September during their forthcoming hardware event.

Along with this announcement, you will be excited to hear that Apple will launch the largest iPhone ever manufactured beside the current iPhone X’ successor with the name of iPhone Xs.

Get to know the trio of iPhones

The name of the biggest iPhone might be iPhone Xs Max according to certain leaks, but we are sure it is going to measure 6.5 inches.

In 2014 Apple launched its first bigger iPhone, the 6 series by the name of Plus and maybe the company want to erase that connection.

However, besides those two amazing phones, Apple kept its focus on a budget device, and we are happy to hear about it.

This budget will be similar to its trio siblings in some ways, for example, it will feature an all-screen design, but in order to cut costs and sell it at a cheaper price, the budget iPhone will not be equipped with all the premium features.

According to Macotakara, a publication, the budget device will be called iPhone 9, and it will come in quite a range of colors users can choose from. The iPhone 9 will come in colors such as black, white, bright orange, flash yellow, electric blue, and taupe variants.

As a matter of cost cutting, the iPhone 9 will not be equipped with the OLED screen iPhone X got us used to, but with an LCD one.

Marques Brownlee has posted a video on his YouTube channel showing some prototypes of the device, and it seems like it will have only one camera sensor compared to its trio mates.

Even though you hoped for a cheaper price as the budget term implies, the iPhone 9 is still an Apple product and an iPhone so in concordance with the company’s pricing plan, we do not think the iPhone 9 can be cheaper than €799 (£713.83).

That price is for sure reserved for the baseline model with the smallest amount of storage which means that the price did not reach everybody’s expectations.

Based on information from TrendForce, the iPhone 9 which will measure 6.1 inches will come in both 256 and 64GB models.

iPhone Xs Max and iPhone Xs will both be equipped with 4GB of RAM contrary to iPhone 9 which will only have 3GB.

iPhone 9 is on its way, and you will not wait for too much to see that price with your own eyes.

Apple reveal offers all the information we hoped for

Cupertino’s event from 12th of September is expected to be the day when the American tech giant will unveil the iPhone family.

You will be delighted to find out that Apple is hosting its Gather Round event this week and many tech fans are assuming the fall’s products will be talked about. Besides Apple’s mainstream launches, a series of three iPhones might be announced: a larger version of the iPhone X, an updated one, and a cheaper one equipped with an LCD display and measuring 6.1 inches. According to recent leaks, its name might change from iPhone 9 to iPhone XC.

Everybody has analyzed Apple’s traditional naming conventions including Chinese people who came up with a marketing presentation which has been flying around China’s social media Weibo (via Macotakara and 9to5Mac). That presentation suggests that the new devices will be named iPhone Xs, iPhone XC, and iPhone XS Plus. Chinese people already know the prices too, according to 9to5Mac, the iPhone XS Plus will be sold at the price of $1000, the iPhone XS at $900 and the most awaited budget iPhone XC will cost $699.

Apple is making up with the rainbow according to other leaks. Even though the rose gold was what we could have gotten closer to as a color, it has been a long time since the iPhone 5C which came in a lot of colors from users to choose from. When it comes to the iPhone XC, Ben Gaskin tweeted some pictures on its profile showing some white, red, and blue prototypes.

Even though it is fun to hear details before the even from 12th of September, these leaks might not be as accurate as we hope.
