Apple is scheduled to launch three new iPhone models in September. However, the Cupertino based tech giant is currently adding the finishing touches to the new Watch Series 4 and rumor has it that the smartwatch will hit the market sooner than expected. With that being said, we have rounded up all the latest rumors surrounding Watch Series 4 and we will present readers with everything there is to know about Apple’s upcoming smartwatch.

Launch date and Price

Even though Apple confirmed that it will launch three new iPhone models in September, Apple doesn’t want to reveal any important information about Watch Series 4. Therefore, Watch Series 4’s launch date has yet to be confirmed, but all rumors are pointing towards a September launch. As we all know, Apple products are known for being quite expensive and Watch Series 4 is not an exception to that rule. According to the rumor mill, Watch Series 4 will be priced at $399.

Face ID Support

One of the coolest features that Apple’s latest iPhone X flagship smartphone has to offer is the Face ID software. This software makes it possible for iPhone X owners to unlock their smartphone just by looking at it and Watch Series 4 is expected to feature Face ID support. Let’s hope this rumor proves to be true because having to enter a PIN code on a smartwatch is not pleasant.

Heart Rate Monitoring Features

During a recent press release, Apple announced that it wants Watch Series 4 to be better suited for fitness activities. Not just that, but Apple was also spotted filing a patent for a special heart rate monitoring feature. From the looks of it, Watch Series 4 will be equipped with a bunch more features that are designed towards helping users track their workouts.
