Three variants of the Samsung Galaxy S10 will be available

Based on information provided by the same report from Bloomberg, which confirms earlier reports and leaks, the South Korean tech giant will offer three variants of the phone that will mark the upcoming 10th anniversary of the Galaxy S series.

Starting with the beginning, there is the Galaxy S10 Plus which has been codenamed Beyond 2. It is said to be the successor f the Samsung Galaxy 9 Plus, but obviously with some more innovative features attached.

The other phones are codenamed Beyond 0, which will be the budget variant we have mentioned in the first paragraph and Beyond which will be the Galaxy S10 standard version.

The first smartphone to support the new 5G network will be the Samsung Galaxy S10

The same report which provided us with information suggests that Samsung is cooperating with Verizon Communications Inc. To make the Galaxy S10 launch in the US with a fifth-generation wireless chipset. What that means is that the recently announced Exynos Modem 5100 will be supported by the Galaxy S10. The modem is designed to deliver a maximum of 2Gbps downlink speed and also support the existing networks.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 will get a new design that will be enjoyed by everyone

In addition to the previous information, Bloomberg has also mentioned that the Galaxy S10 Plus and the standard variant will both lack the notch and they will feature curved OLED screens. The bezels at the bottom and top will be minimal. The design that Samsung approaches were supposed to be featured by Apple’s iPhone X.

The in-display fingerprint sensor has been confirmed by Samsung

The upcoming flagship phones from Samsung will all be equipped with the new under the display fingerprint sensor. Unfortunately for the fans of budget phones, the pocket-friendly Samsung Galaxy S10 variant will not have a dual-curve edge screen, and the fingerprint reader will not be mounted under the display, but on the side of the smartphone.

Further information about the upcoming Samsung flagship

The Snapdragon 8150 chipset from Qualcomm known as the unreleased Qualcomm chipset has been spotted recently in the Android Pie firmware of the Galaxy S9.

The unreleased chipset we are talking about it is extremely likely to be the future version of its predecessor, the Snapdragon 845. The Galaxy S10 might be where this chipset will debut.

Besides that, the report from Bloomberg has also said that the Android Pie will be included in the Samsung Galaxy S10 and that the South Korean company is also considering not including a headphone jack because they are working on an S10 prototype that lacks it.

Hopefully, when this phone is released at the beginning of the next year, it will be as expected.
