Apple will hold the product launch event tomorrow and will introduce the new iPhones, Apple Watch, and Apple TV. Many are very excited about the event, mainly because all the details of iPhone X will be revealed. Or that at least supposed to be the case.
Just days before the release of new products, Apple employee revealed the details of the company’s most-awaited handset, iPhone 8, The Independent reports.
The latest leaks revealed the name of the new iPhone. First things first, the name of the premium handset is not iPhone 8, it is iPhone X as some rumors suggested already. The tech giant is expected to launch a cheaper phone as well, and that one will be named iPhone 8.
If you think the name is all the leaks revealed, you are wrong. They show many features that will available on both phones Apple is about to launch. These phones will come with a new screen technology and, new camera and facial recognition. In addition, lock button will have more functions. For instance, it will be able to open up Apple Pay and to activate Siri.
How these leaks became available in the first place? According to reports, they came from downloading the software. And the software shows all the features and details of iPhone X. According to blogger John Gruber, the leaks came from Apple employee.
“As best I’ve been able to ascertain, these builds were available to download by anyone, but they were obscured by long, unguessable URLs,” John Gruber wrote.
“Someone within Apple leaked the list of URLs to 9to5Mac and MacRumors. I’m nearly certain this wasn’t a mistake, but rather a deliberate malicious act by a rogue Apple employee.”, he added.
“That person should be ashamed of themselves, and should be very worried when their phone next rings.”, wrote Mr. Gruber.
The excitement over the event may not be as huge as it was days ago now that we know many details of iPhone X. But, as reports suggested, Apple will launch other products as well, so there are many great things coming our way.
