The Galaxy Note 9 has changed its appearance; more exactly, it doesn’t resemble last year’s version. However, Samsung made it better in every capacity. You can expect it to come with the high-end tech that every Android flagship smartphone should have in today’s market. Besides this, it will come with a lot more storage space, a smarter S pen and a bigger battery capacity.

What is new with the Galaxy Note 9?

A distinguishable feature that is showcased only with the Note 9 is the display which delivers an incredible performance, much better than was available with the other smartphones in the Galaxy S9 series.

There are a lot of people that, over these last years, have fallen in love with the OLED screens provided by Samsung. They set new standards concerning performance as they delivered one Galaxy S or Note product after another. Samsung made such a good work with their displays that even Apple used them to incorporate OLED screens into their iPhones. As a result, iPhone X had the title of ‘best smartphone display’, until the Galaxy Note 9 made an appearance.

Who gives this title?

There are some clever tech-savvy people that are a part of DisplayMate and they are the ones that measure the features of a display to see which one is the best. The Note 9’s OLED screen took a part in these standard tests and the conclusion is that it is better than any other Samsung device.

Among the phone’s records, you can find ‘visually indistinguishable from perfect’ or ‘very high absolute color accuracy’ so you know that it is indeed that good. Its record peak luminance is independent of image content APL (Average Picture Level) and the color accuracy and intensity scales are also independent of the image content APL.
