Android O Beta Version Coming Soon With New Features

If you’re still waiting to get yourself an Android N device, you might want to know that the team is already working on the Android O beta version. Moreover, some people may even test it before the end of May, which is quite soon. Some reports say that the developer preview for the Android O Beta is already released, and there are two theories about the formal release of the new version.

One of them states that Google wants to release the Android O together with the Pixel 2 smartphone, while the other theory talks about the full details being released at the developers’ conference that will be held later this month.

What Is Android O Going to Be?

There are, of course, lots of speculations surrounding the Android O and it’s normal, since people are excited about any new Android version. The Google CEO, Sundar Pitchai, recently visited India, where he was asked why aren’t they giving Indian sweets’ names to Android versions. To this, he replied that they would be open to it if there were names that sounded good.

However, most people seem to think that the upcoming Android version is going to be named Oreo. There is also the possibility for the company to use the name Android Orange, but there is no official information about either of the possibilities.

Developer Preview Available for Download

If you are a developer and think you can handle it, then you should access the beta version of the Android O. If you’re not a developer, then most likely you shouldn’t install it, since it may delete your entire data and damage your device. What’s more, you will have some warranty issues with the phone company if you download software that was not authorized by them.
