Android 9 Pie to be Available for OnePlus 3 and 3T Users

OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T were models launched in 2016. The company has since launched many models and the latest launch is OnePlus 7. For the users still using the OnePlus 3 and 3T models, the latest update has been announced by the company. This update will bring these models up to date in terms of a lot of specifications. Android Pie version will be available for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users through this update. The company has panned this update in phases. It will be available for the users in a phased manner.

Changes to be Made Through this Update

There a number of changes being offered through this update. One of the major changes is the upgradation of the operating system. The jump to Android 9 Pie will bring a sense of relief to the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users. The update will now let the users have a do not disturb mode. The special feature about this mode is that the users can customize the timer in it. A new security patch update, as well as a stylish UI design, are part of this upgrade.

A gaming mode addition has also been made in this update. The notification bar will also display texts. Users will also be able to make calls through Google Duo using the dialer app. These are just some of the features being upgraded through this update. It seems that this may be one of the last updates available for these models. Due to the fact that these models were released several years ago, the company may not launch any more upgrades in the future.
