The next AMD generation will debut with 12nm process technology and it includes 2000 series Ryzen 7, Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 3. In the first quarter of 2018 2000 microprocesors will bring a better support for DDR4 RAM. Ryzen 7 will be released in February, while Ryzen 5 and 3 will be released in March.

The new chips are to me manufactures with the 12nm: Leading Performance” belonging to Globalfoundries and using AMD’s Zen+CPU microarchitecture, slightly improved.
The new AMD chips will be Intel’s new 9000 series rivals. Intel’s 900 series will be released in June 2018 and it will have 8 ores to the mainstream.
SO far there are not many details released to the public about the microarchitectural side of the new Zen parts. What is for sure is that the 12nm will bring better power efficiency and higher clock speeds.
According to the Globalfoundries, the Ryzen frequencies work 4.2-4.4GHz on the high-end. The new AMD processors support higher DDR4 memory frequencies due to the performance improvements brought in by 12LP.

AM4 compatibility will remain, implying that only a BIOS update is necessary for the 300 series motherboard to be compatible with a 2000 Ryzen CPU.
Advanced Micro Devices
This huge multinational American company was founded in 1968 and since then it has had a long tradition of quality processors, servers and other systems applications. Even so, Intel is AMD’s nemesis as the later takes the first place in the marked for its x86 microprocessors. The main products manufactures by the Californian-based semiconductor company are microprocessors, motherboard chipsets, graphic processors, embedded processors, workstations and embedded systems applications. The first product manufacture in 1969 was the Am9300.
