Apparently, Apple will start accepting pre-orders for its new 2018 iPhone release starting with the 14th of September, if we listened to what German carriers have to say.
We have to get ready
According to Macerkopf, The German service providers are planning and preparing for pre-orders which will start occurring on September the 14th. Don’t worry, you don’t have to just constantly refresh the website. For sure, an announcement will be made sometime earlier in the week, perhaps on 11th or 12th September.
Respecting the date
It has been a habit for Apple to release iPhones during the middle of September, typically on a Tuesday. However, this year September 11 will be on a Tuesday and because of that, we will most likely see the Apple announcement event on a different day.
In 2012, 11th of September was also on a Tuesday and Apple chose to hold the event the next day, on Wednesday, September 12th. That’s why we feel that the American company will stick to its creed of respecting this tragic day.
What happens after the 14th?
Once the 14th of September is gone and pre-ordering has commenced, iPhones will start to be delivered to the customers. We believe that this will start on Friday, September 21st, which will probably be the official date for the new iPhone release.
The company will start handing out invitations to the media outlets starting with the end of August when the higher-ups will decide on a definite day. More than likely, the event will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater which can be found on the new Apple Park campus.
What should you expect, you ask? There have been constant rumors according to which Apple will release three iPhone products, which include a budget version affordable for almost anyone.
