Solution No.1: Clear cache, cookies, history and website data

Sometimes, Safari crashes before opening, right at the moment when you click on the icon, and sometimes it crashes after a couple of seconds. You need to clear cache, cookies, history and website data.

  • Go to Settings
  • Tap Safari
  • Tap Clear History and Website Data
  • In the pop-up window, tap Clear History and Data

Solution No.2: Remove all website data

This can be helpful as well. Go to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data, scroll down and click on Remove All Website Data, and confirm the action.

Solution No.3: Restart Safari app

  • Click on the Home button two times to get a preview screen
  • Find Safar, and swipe up in order to close the app
  • Click on Home button and go back to the Home screen

Solution No.4: Turn iCloud Bookmarks off and back on

To do this go to Settings > iCloud and turn off Safari. In case you data exists on your computer, select Delete from my (device), if not, select Keep on my (device). When you do this, wait for a couple of minutes, and turn Safari on again. Hopefully, it will work just fine.
